About EurAsia Forum

Introduction

EurAsia Forum is an international non-profit organization based in Zurich Switzerland. EurAsia Forum is conducting research on issues related to the development of business and international cooperation. Our mission is to be a facilitator of sustainable economic and cultural relationships between Europe and Asia.

EurAsia Forum is regularly organizing events on different topics, sharing practical experience and learn about the latest initiatives promoting corporate responsibility. Our objective is to create a more professional, ethical and prosperous business network for International cooperation. We ensure and enforce professional standards through our code of conduct, compelling members to adhere to high standards of ethical practice.

EurAsia Forum was formally established in April 2019. Its founding members, the board and leadership are comprised of exceptional individuals from different nationalities and different industries. This variety ensures our ability to fully support the members’ engagement.

Since its inception, EurAsia Forum has been actively providing ​regular meetings and forums to exchange views and share experience for helps to establish and develop successful business interactions.

The professional team of EurAsia Forum delivers exceptional training, authoritative industry data, global networking and development opportunities that cater to our members’ needs.

The Chinese name of EurAsia Forum is 欧亚论坛; (pinyin: ŌuYà Lùntán).


Our Leadership

The Forum is guided by a Board of Trustees, outstanding persons from business, politics, academia and civil society who act as guardians of its mission and values and oversee the Forum’s work in promoting true global citizenship. In their work on the Board, members do not represent any personal or professional interests. In order to reflect the Board’s multi-stakeholder status, its membership is divided equally between representatives of the business community and leaders from international organizations and civil society.

Managing Board

The Managing Board has a collective executive responsibility for the EurAsia Forum and reports to the Board of Trustees. The Board ensures that activities fulfil the mission of the Forum and acts as its representative to outside parties. The Board leadership and staff of the EurAsia-Forum comprise exceptional individuals from many nationalities and different industries.

Executive Committee

The Forum’s activities are managed by its executive committee headed by Founder and Executive Chairman Irene ZHU (ZHU Ailian).

The Executive Committee is responsible for the daily operations of the Association. Apart from the first Executive Committee (which was elected by the Founding Members), the Executive Committee is elected by eligible members at the Annual General Meeting every year. The number of Committee Members should not be less than 8 and not more than 15.
