Our Governance and Board
The Forum is guided by a Board of Trustees, outstanding persons from business, politics, academia and civil society who act as guardians of its mission and values and oversee the Forum’s work in promoting true global citizenship. In their work on the Board, members do not represent any personal or professional interests. In order to reflect the Board’s multi-stakeholder status, its membership is divided equally between representatives of the business community and leaders from international organizations and civil society.
The Managing Board has a collective executive responsibility for the EurAsia Forum and reports to the Board of Trustees. The Board ensures that activities fulfil the mission of the Forum and acts as its representative to outside parties. The Board leadership and staff of the EurAsia-Forum comprise exceptional individuals from many nationalities and different industries.
The Forum’s activities are managed by its executive leadership. Led by Founder and Executive Chairman Irene ZHU, and is supported by the Forum’s Secretary General Robert J. Mojzes who is also responsible for PR and media relations.
The Executive Committee is responsible for the daily operations of the Association. Apart from the first Executive Committee (which was elected by the Founding Members), the Executive Committee is elected by eligible members at the Annual General Meeting every year. The number of Committee Members should not be less than 8 and not more than 15. Its membership consists of:
